Hayley Orantia is American actress, musician and performer. Her most well-known role is Erica Goldberg from the TV comedy program "The Goldbergs". Her primary focus is as the performer. Music is the first passion that she insists on; it's something she's dabbled at when she was 9 years old. By the time she reached age 12, she had taken the music seriously enough that she began studying professionally. The singer-songwriter began writing songs at 13 and was 14 when she recorded her first album of cover songs. Since then, she has never looked back. Orrantia was born in America, but has Hispanic heritage. While she grew up with only English and was never in Mexico she's very happy about her Hispanic culture. To keep the tradition, she's studied Spanish and has written songs in that language. 'Hasta Verte' a song she composed in Spanish is an example of this. The summer of 2011, Orrantia auditioned for the premiere season of The X Factor. Orrantia had been picked by a panel of YouTube videos, received an average of four "yeses," from judges at Seattle in the live audition stage. She was originally a solo performer, but in the course of "Hollywood Week" and three other female performers were added to groups to take part in the auditions. Live shows were staged during the week of 5th.
