The channel she started with was Fox News Channel, as the general assignment reporter in the year 2005. Following a few years she became an anchor at Fox Report Weekend. Julie Banderas is a journalist who has been involved in numerous high-profile news stories including the hurricane Dennis. Also, she covered the case of Terri Schiavo and the disappearance Natalee. In 2004, she was awarded the Outstanding Single Newscast Emmy Award, for covering her coverage of the Republican National Convention.
