Mary Marg Helgenberger born 16 November 1958, is an American actor from the United States. She began her career at the beginning of the 1980s. In 2017, she joined The View's daily talk program The View where she co-hosted until 2021. She was awarded 4 Daytime Emmy award nominations for her work. McCain began writing a weekly column for the Daily Mail after leaving The View. McCain has also written four books including The Story of My Dad John McCain (2008) Dirty Sexy Politics (2010) America You Sexy Bitch : A love letter to freedom and Michael Ian Black (2012) and Bad Republican (2022).
